Neon FM Mobile Version

Neon FM is a title I've been following for a while. For those of you who haven't seen or heard of it, it is an arcade rhythm game that shares a few similarities with Pop'n'Music, but with a sleeker, more modern style, larger, bongo-like buttons, and a unique, adaptive difficulty system.

As of right now, the game is in the prototype phase and is not widely available, and with arcades becoming rarer and rarer in the US, it seemed likely that most of us would ever get a chance to play the game. That is, until I stumbled upon a small blurb that went up on the Neon FM developer's website claiming that a mobile version of the game will be available Spring 2014.

So far no other details about the mobile version have been posted, and obviously touch screen controls probably won't match actual, tactile feedback, but it's nice to know that we'll be able to play some version of the game without having to trek to a distant arcade or con.

You can find out more about Neon FM at the developer's website.
